Jonathan Fields, son of CGVetters Debbie & Bill Kubida

Our son, Jonathan enlisted in the U.S. Army on Jan 15, 2008.  He has secured a position within the Special Forces.

He is currently in basic training at Ft. Benning.  Since he does not have access to his cell phone or computer, his communication with his family and friends is very limited.  They are allowed minimal phone calls if their platoon leader allows it.  So, we are limited to letters back and forth.  He has written that he would welcome letters from anyone as these letters help to keep him going.  When he does have downtime, reading his letters helps to provide encouragement.

We are asking our club members to write Jonathan words of encouragement.

New Look to the Membership List in [Member Log-in]

When you view the Membership List under [Member Log-in] you'll find the information compressed to fit on a single landscape page without horizontal scrolling.  When I did this, the type got really, really small :)  The good news is that it's in .pdf format which includes a zoom feature so you can make the type as big as you want it.  Hope you enjoy having all information on one page (horizontally).

Keep wavin'!  Chaz Cone, (Webmaster)

Important Information for C6 Z06 Owners

Quoting a storyline in the September 12, 2005 issue of Autoweek, "Chevrolet and the International Carwash Association warn against sending the all-new 2006 Chevrolet Z06 through a conveyor-style automatic car wash.  According to a notice included in the owner's manual and elsewhere, the car's 13.6-inch wide rear tires are too wide for the typical car wash conveyor and may be damaged by the equipment.  We'd recommend hand washing your Corvette, but if you must auto-wash, pick a touchless wash without conveyors," Chevy says.

If your car is not currently being shown in "Members Garage" or if you want to change the picture that is listed, please contact .  He prefers a .jpg image (in the largest format you have) e-mailed to him .

Other formats accepted would be an actual photo mailed to his home address, which is listed in the Members Directory.  You can also give him your photo to her at an upcoming event.  All photos will be returned to their owner at the next meeting or event.

Along with your photo, please be sure to include a short storyline for the website.
