My new car is a 2019 Blade Silver Grand Sport, replacing my 2009 Velocity Yellow GT1. Both were/are convertibles as Annette will not ride in a coupe, Vettes are meant to be convertibles! I dropped off the GT 1 for service, and when Annette dropped me off to pick it up, we both saw and commented on how beautiful it looked. I jokingly said, “don’t be surprised if I come home in that one”. She said “Whatever”, so of course, that’s exactly what I did! She loves it too, so I lucked out on that deal. It’s got all the Z06 goodies except the engine is only 465 HP, not quite as much as my last L88 race car, but plenty enough for street use.
