Bill Gohr's 1999 Torch Red Convertible w/ Oak Interior

My white 1963 convertible with red interior was purchased in Massachusetts in June 1963 by my father while on special assignment with Firestone. He was 62 years old. It was his first and only corvette. The car has a 327ci, 250 hp engine. It does not have any options at all. He used it as a daily driver. When he retired from Firestone in 1966 he and my mother would drive it from their home in Akron, Ohio to Tucson, Arizona every winter. It was fully restored in 1983-84 and was awarded a Blomington Gold in 1984. Other awards include a National Corvette Restorers Society Top Flight several times, a Founders Award, Sportsman Award, and the Sam Foltz Memorial Award. Even after a 4,000 mile trip through Canada it is still winning trophies.
