Charles King's 2016 Laguna Blue Z06 Coupe MY THREE PHASE HISTORY OF CORVETTE OWNERSHIP Phase 1: I fell in love with Corvettes when I was 12 years old.  The first V8 Corvette had just come out, and I made myself a promise that one day I would own one. Finally in June 1967 I purchased a new Sunfire Yellow Corvette convertible from John Smith Chevrolet.  I loved my Corvette, and kept it until two sons came along, and it was evident I needed to sell it. Phase 2: It took many years, but after relentlessly bugging my neighbor and fellow Corvette owner Fred Enloe for about four years I finally purchased a new Torch Red Grand Sport Corvette from Rick Hendrick Chevrolet, and again I loved my new Corvette. Phase 3: After much research and conversation I have now purchased a 2016 Laguna Blue Corvette Z06, and again I love my new Corvette. Phase 4:?
