  NCM Volunteer Weekend - May 31-June 1, 2008

Classic Glass Corvette Club was well represented at the 3rd annual volunteer work/fun weekend at the NCM.

There were a total of eighteen people and eleven Corvettes involved in this fun work weekend.   Our tasks included washing two trailers on loan to the NCM, inserting new member CD’s into holders and stuffing new member envelopes with NCM brochures.   We had quite an assembly line down both sides of a long conference table.   One side had quite a time keeping up with the queen of stuffers, Mildred Cooper.   A lot of laughs, jokes and fun were shared by all.   We toured the museum including an excursion to Cooperstown (a back room not seen by the public).   A few people enjoyed some great shopping in the museum store.   We also placed our names on one of the columns in the new addition to the museum.   Everyone worked hard and had a good time.   Ask Al, Calvin, Glenda or Fred about the drive home and the gal in the black BMW!
